MABOQUEIRO PROJECT: COMPLETED AND READY TO BE OPERATIONAL
Gruppo Antonini is pleased to announce the completion of the Maboqueiro platform, an innovative project marking an important milestone in our commitment to sustainable energy and technological innovation. The platform, which will soon reach Angola, will be operational and make a significant contribution to the local and global energy landscape.

With a deck weighing approximately 1,400 tons, a jacket structure of around 2,400 tons, and foundation piles totaling 1,600 tons, Maboqueiro stands as one of the most massive and complex achievements by our group.
The Maboqueiro project is also the first EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project carried out for Azule Energy, a company partly owned by ENI and one of the leading players in Angola’s Oil & Gas sector. This platform is a key component of the Angola NGC (New Gas Consortium) Project, designed for the extraction of gas condensate from two fields, Quiluma and Maboqueiro.
Production is expected to commence in 2025, with a capacity of approximately 330 million cubic feet of gas per day, equivalent to around 4 billion cubic meters per year.

The Maboqueiro platform consists of a jacket made from tubular steel components, anchored to the seabed with four foundation piles, each 120 meters long and approximately 1.7 meters in diameter. The platform also features a deck measuring 25x30 meters and weighing a total of 1,400 tons.
The structure includes six well slots (four operational and two reserved) and a gas operating pressure that will reach up to 60 bar.
An innovative aspect of this project is the complete digitalization of all quality reports, managed through the CCMS software. This enables advanced data and operations management, including the monitoring of maintenance phases.
