GREEN & ENERGY

ENERGY
TRANSITION

As the global energy sector evolves, Gruppo Antonini is leveraging its expertise in onshore and offshore steel fabrication to support sustainability through its Energy Transition Division, dedicated to decarbonisation and sustainable energy projects. This represents a natural evolution of the company’s established expertise in the Oil & Gas sector, now applied to address the energy challenges of the future.

01

Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)

We support pioneering projects for the capture, transport and storage of CO₂. Our participation in strategic initiatives, such as the Ravenna CCS project, demonstrates the Group's active commitment to achieving European decarbonisation targets.

02

Offshore Renewable Energy

We design and build advanced metallic infrastructure for the support and production of energy from offshore renewable sources, transferring our leadership in offshore construction to the wind and marine energy sector.

03

Hydrogen & LNG

We develop critical plants and structures for the hydrogen and liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply chain — essential components for a low-emission energy mix.

04

Energy Efficiency

We implement technical solutions to optimise industrial processes, drastically reducing environmental impact and improving operational performance.

SUSTAINABILITY

OUR
ESG COMMITMENT

Based on the 2025–2027 Industrial Plan, Gruppo Antonini articulates its ESG commitment (Environmental, Social, Governance) in a structured strategy to respond to growing sustainability demands from clients and financial institutions. The Group has embarked on a sustainable development path aimed at ensuring a future resilient to climate and environmental risks, grounding its strategy in the balance between economic growth and responsibility — creating value without generating environmental debts for future generations.

E

Environment

Environmental Sustainability

Attention to protecting natural resources translates into concrete actions for process efficiency. The Group aims for a significant reduction in energy consumption and associated costs through optimised production capacity and the adoption of advanced technologies. A fundamental pillar of this transition is the increased use of self-produced energy from renewable sources, improving the energy self-sufficiency of operational sites.

S

Social

Social Responsibility

Human capital is at the heart of the development strategy. The Group promotes the wellbeing of its employees and respect for human rights, continuously investing in training. Training programmes aim to enhance technical, language and safety skills, while also ensuring generational renewal through structured collaborations with universities and educational institutions.

G

Governance

Governance & Ethics

Corporate management is guided by the highest standards of transparency, integrity and accountability. The consolidation of compliance and the adoption of rigorous organisational models ensure full regulatory conformity and complete protection for all stakeholders. This approach includes monitoring sustainability throughout the entire supply chain and implementing systems for reporting any irregularities, fostering a transparent working environment.

Strategic Value & Partnership

The integration of ESG practices is considered an essential requirement for the longevity of the business. This commitment allows the Group to align with the priorities of major global partners and meet the requirements necessary for participation in complex tenders. Furthermore, strong sustainability performance improves creditworthiness and corporate reputation with financial institutions, facilitating access to more favourable financing conditions.

ISO

CERTIFICATES

Gruppo Antonini SpA has obtained international ISO 9001:2015 certification (UNI EN ISO 9001:2015). The certified business processes cover engineering design, procurement, construction/fabrication, installation and maintenance of offshore/onshore plants.

HSE COMMITMENT

SAFETY

Gruppo Antonini SpA has structured an efficient management system that is not only environmental in scope, but also integrated with HEALTH and SAFETY (HSE) protection programmes.

ISO 14001:2015 Certification

The Company has therefore obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification for the following scope "Design and construction of metal structures and petrochemical plants for offshore and onshore applications; skids and pressure and non-pressure equipment, machining, sandblasting, painting and assembly. External site activities in the petrochemical, alternative energy and naval sectors; plant engineering design, construction and maintenance."

Environmental Commitment

In this context, following agreements with the Port System Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea (AdSP) for the redevelopment of the state-owned concession area for the industrial zone, and in compliance with the requirements established by the Liguria Region for securing the Pertusola site, where the Pertusola Foundry operated between the late 1800s and early 1900s, the Company, although not identified as a "polluter", has committed to remediation activities for the three hot spots identified in the area as the most critical danger points. Gruppo Antonini is continuing remediation operations, which will be completed in 2026.
