GRUPPO ANTONINI: RENOVATION PROJECT FOR THE PERTUSOLA FACILITY APPROVED
The authorization process for the renovation project of one of the buildings within the Pertusola state-owned maritime area, in the Municipality of Lerici, has been successfully completed. The facility is used by Gruppo Antonini for its industrial, shipbuilding and specialized metalworking activities.
The authorization process for the renovation project of one of the buildings within the Pertusola state-owned maritime area, in the Municipality of Lerici, has been successfully completed. The project, submitted by the concessionaire company in September 2025, underwent a comprehensive assessment as part of the administrative Conference of Services, involving the main competent authorities and public administrations. These included the Municipality of Lerici, the Province of La Spezia, the Liguria Region, Arpal, ASL 5, the Fire Brigade, the Harbour Master's Office, the State Property Agency, the Customs and Monopolies Agency, the Italian Navy and the Superintendency.
Following the assessments carried out and the additional documentation requested during the process, the necessary opinions were obtained to complete the authorization procedure. In particular, the final steps were completed in recent weeks with the issuance of the landscape authorization by the Municipality of Lerici and the opinion of the Superintendency.
In July, the Superintendency had also determined that the building concerned by the project, identified as the light metalworking facility of the former Pertusola industrial area, does not present characteristics that would qualify it for protection under cultural heritage regulations.
With the successful conclusion of the Conference of Services, the Eastern Ligurian Sea Port System Authority formally approved the project, allowing Gruppo Antonini to move forward with the operational phase of the intervention.
The renovation project is part of Gruppo Antonini’s broader development and enhancement of its infrastructure within the Pertusola area, a strategic site for the Group’s industrial and shipbuilding activities.
The works will be carried out in compliance with the requirements established throughout the authorization process, with particular attention to safety and environmental protection. Activities will be conducted in accordance with applicable regulations on workplace safety, waste management and potentially contaminated materials, adopting all necessary measures to prevent any impact on the soil, water and surrounding marine environment.
The approval of the project represents a further step in strengthening Gruppo Antonini’s activities at the Pertusola site, confirming the strategic importance of the area for the development of the Group’s industrial and shipbuilding expertise.
