THE CITY OF LA SPEZIA WILL PARTICIPATE IN EXPO 2025 IN OSAKA, JAPAN

Thanks to a recently signed agreement with the Liguria Region, La Spezia will represent Liguria at Expo 2025 in Osaka, scheduled from April 13 to October 13, 2025. This will be a unique opportunity for La Spezia and Liguria to showcase their excellence to the world.

A highlight of La Spezia’s presence at the Expo will be the presentation of the “Miglio Blu”, the renowned nautical district. This area, a symbol of innovation and technological excellence, is an international reference point for the construction and maintenance of pleasure boats and ships.

“Participation in Expo 2025 in Osaka is a great showcase for our city,” said Pierluigi Peracchini, Mayor of La Spezia. “We will have the opportunity to present the ‘Miglio Blu,’ a reality that includes world-leading brands in shipbuilding and Blue Economy companies representing an excellence of our city.”
