MABOQUEIRO PLATFORM: FINAL PHASE OF THE PROJECT CONCLUDES WITH THE DECK SAIL AWAY
The Deck sail-away, the final part of the Maboqueiro Project, has been completed and is now en route to the Jacket in Angola.
Gruppo Antonini is pleased to announce the completion of the Sail Away of the final component of the Maboqueiro Project, the Deck, which is now en route to the Jacket located in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Soyo, Angola.
This impressive structure, weighing 1,531 tons, has significant dimensions: 32 meters in height, 25 meters in width, and 31 meters in length. Inside, it houses essential systems and equipment required for the platform’s operation.
The platform’s installation will mark the completion of an offshore infrastructure designed to meet growing local and Italian energy needs, while also stimulating economic and industrial development in the region.
Once operational, the platform will play a crucial role in the extraction and processing of natural gas.
