REFURBISHMENT ACTIVITIES OF THE M’BOUNDI PIPELINE – BLOCK VALVE STATION

The first part of the scope of work involves the installation of the piping to connect the seawater line (converted into gas pipeline) between Cote Mateve, Mboundi Oil Centre of Eni Congo, and the GRS area at Litchendjili Onshore. Main activities include tie-ins, installation of valves (SDV and manual), dielectric joints, and pipeline welding. Civil works include excavation, foundation construction, and road reinstatement. Mechanical work concerns the connection of pipelines, support and integration of instrumentation, including ICSS system upgrades. Inspections, hydraulic testing, and final touch-ups are also part of the scope of work. The second part of the scope of work involves the removal of 24" valves along the 50 km of the seawater pipeline between Cote Mateve and Mboundi Oil Centre of Eni Congo. Main activities include dismantling the 6" valve bypasses, disconnecting and removing existing equipment, cutting and sealing the bypass welds, and replacing the valves with spools welded to the cuts on the 24" flanges. Operations include removal of automated valves.
