PC CONSTRUCTION OF 1 O.R.F. (ONSHORE RECEIVING FACILITY) – SANCHEZ MAGALLANES
ENI Mexico / D Impianti
Location
Messico
Year / Duration
2018 · 2018 / 2019
The ORF center is located in Tabasco, Mexico, near the landing point of the subsea pipeline from the existing and new offshore platforms within the ENI Mexico fields: AMOCA, MIZTON, and TECOALLI. The ORF project consists of two distinct phases: PHASE 1: Multiphase phase (before FPSO installation), where the multiphase fluid produced at the MIZTON WHP platform is sent onshore via a 10" pipeline with a flowrate up to 9,000 bbl/d. During Phase 1 at the ORF, the multiphase fluid is sent to the process Slug Catcher to separate gas, oil, and water streams, measure them, combine oil and water into a single stream, and send the gas and liquid phases separately to the Pemex facility at the S. Ramon Battery. PHASE 2: FPSO phase (after FPSO installation), where the multiphase fluid produced at the MIZTON WHP platform is sent to the FPSO for processing. The produced gas is returned to the MIZTON WHP and then onshore via the 10" pipeline (used for multiphase fluid in Phase 1) with a flowrate up to 75 MMSCFD. In Phase 2 at the ORF, the gas is sent to the process Slug Catcher to separate gas and condensate, measure them, and send both mixed to the Pemex facility at the S. Ramon Battery. Scope of work includes: Field work, construction engineering, procurement of materials and equipment, fabrication of piping/equipment, construction, commissioning, and plant start-up. The ORF, with its associated structures, is composed of the following main sections: Unit 130: Manifold System Unit 200: Separation Unit 230: Flare and Blowdown System Unit 420: Fuel Gas System Unit 460: Compressed Air System Unit 470: Main Power Generation System (Gas) Unit 480: Auxiliary Power Generation System (Diesel) Unit 730: Firefighting System Unit 825: Electrical/Control Stations Structural Works Piping and Mechanical Works Metering Skids Electrical and Instrumentation Works Oil properties at ORF inlet boundaries are as follows: PHASE 1 – Operating flowrate: 9,000 BPD (liquid) and 8 MMSCFD (gas) Operating pressure: 5.0 bar(g) | Operating temperature: 15/35 °C PHASE 2 – Operating flowrate: 12,000 BPD (liquid) and 75 MMSCFD (gas) Operating pressure: 60.0 bar(g) | Operating temperature: 15/25 °C
